Allison Glotfelty was a teenager when someone gave her a camera for Christmas, and she hasn’t put it down since. A West Virginia-born native, she’s passionate about capturing those special moments, especially in beautiful locations. With a heart that loves God and the joyful chaos of her wiener dogs, Allison will create unforgettable memories with your friends and loved ones here at Erb’n Roots.

  • Barb and Flowers from LoweLand Gardens.

    LoweLand Gardens

Barb and Dave Lowe aren’t just long-time family friends, they’ve been our biggest cheerleaders since we hatched this crazy plan in mid-2023. Those flowers that decorate the yard, the Big Barn and the Sassy Heifer Patio often come from Barb’s colorful gardens, and she offers classes that weave natural beauty into kids’ projects and your home decor. Dave on his trusty tractor keeps the Erb’n Roots main yards trimmed and our gardens ready for planting. You can see his woodworking designs in the Big Barn on some weekends, too.

  • Goats from Cornterstone Homestead.

    Cornerstone Homestead

Megan and Ben Williams are Cornerstone Homestead, a small, suburban, backyard farm located just a few miles from Erb’n Roots.

With their boys, Grayson and Tanner, they raise a small herd of dairy goats and an ever-growing flock of chickens, making big strides toward a more self-reliant and self-sustaining lifestyle. Megan is the creator of the Erb’n Roots those luscious lotions, soaps, and lip balm.

Coming this summer, Ben will move honeybee hives onto the perimeter of our berry patch, building out pollinating power that sustains all of us. (Don’t worry. The bees aren’t in a public space.)

    Ashley Chambers

We met Ashley and her family when they came out to visit on one of our very first weekends. The timing couldn’t have been better. First, they’re a terrific family! Secondly, other visitors had been asking: Hey, where’s your website?

Well, we know cattle and tractors, but we don’t know technology. You can imagine how thrilled we were when Ashley told us she knew her way around a keyboard and coding! We’re even happier with this final project. (Shh. Don’t tell her we put this here. It will just embarrass her.)
